Importing some geometry to the current document

SolidCNC can import IGES , DXF or STL files. There is also some modelling functionality for making points , lines , arcs , splines and surfaces where you can create geometric entities.

You may give menu command File -> Open or press toolbar button

You can import IGES , DXF or STL files into the open document , you can load many files in one document. The geometries in the file will be loaded into active document.

You will use the following toolbar commands for basic file operations:

• Create a new file
• Open a new file
• Saves the project you are working on
• Deletes the selected objects
• Displays the program information
